SCHOOL GOALS AND PRIORITIES

Curriculum - Student Achievement
  • To maximise student achievement in literacy and numeracy.
  • To maximise student performance in VCE.
Curriculum - Provision and Delivery
  • To deliver a curriculum that encompasses the eight faculties in line with CSF and VCE guidelines.
  • To deliver a curriculum that: focuses on learning, thinking and creativity; encourages the pursuit of excellence; and engenders a passion for life-long learning.

Priority One - Thinking and Learning

To develop enhanced teaching practices that focus on:

  • the development of high order cognitive skills such as analysis, synthesis, evaluation, critical thinking and problem solving.

  • To maintain a safe and caring environment which provides all students with the opportunity to develop self-confidence, optimism, resilience, a sense of belonging and pride in themselves and their college.

  • To deliver a management model which is characterised by shared leadership and learning; consultative decision making processes and professional growth opportunities for all staff.
